This cake was fun. I made it for our church fall festival. Witches cauldron is carved key lime cake w/ buttercream icing covered in fondant, drizzled w/white chocolate green ganache. Yes. It is all edible - even the worms. If you never ate one as a child, here is your chance. Good thing is, they won't squirm, and taste like chocolate!

Lollycakes or cakepops?
So, if you just want a bite of cake, these are perfect. I made these for my two little monsters' pre-school fall festival. They are chocolate cake w/ white chocolate peanut butter, or choc. cake with cream cheese buttercream, dipped in chocolate melts. I am interested to see how they go over tonight.

My first gumpaste baby is born!
Monster Bites
Growing up my mom made sugar cookies for every occasion. Every class party for school, we took homemade sugar cookies. Everyone always looked forward to the surprise as to what Mrs. Carolyn would send with her six kids to school. She had hundreds and hundreds of cookie cutters. I am lucky to have inherited a few of them.
So, Halloween is just around the bend. I decided to use my Friendly Franks this year. I sent them with Kassidy to her class. They loved them. I look forward to making more spooky treats in the next few weeeks. I forgot to take a picture with my nice camera, so you get the idea w/ the phone pic.
